The Century Band is an American Rhythm and Blues studio band that works with different musicians, engineers, and recording studios for each release.
Influences for this group are some of the legends in American songwriting like JJ Cale, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, combined with backing bands and recording techniques inspired by classic Soul Record labels from the 70s like Motown, Stax and Philadelphia International.

The first release from The Century Band is an ode to New York simply entitled, ‘New York Song’ and features one of NYC’s best soul singers, Mr. Bobby Harden.
After living through the Covid 19 Pandemic in Brooklyn this song launched the project that became The Century Band, as the city so many of us love and call home was struggling in so many ways with no particular end in sight.
As the city came roaring back in its usual fashion this song was here to greet everyone as they returned to their daily lives, changed forever but still in love with The Big Apple.
